Product Analyst

Job description

A big part of Officient’s success and scalability lies in our collaboration with partners (= payroll providers). To fuel our rapid growth, we are looking for a product analyst who is able to jump in and make an impact quickly. We want to make sure our partners and customers get the attention they deserve by gathering feedback from all sources and prioritizing our roadmap accordingly.

 

As a Product Analyst your main responsibility will be to gather and map product feedback from our partners and customers. You will be working with our partners on a daily basis, with a focus on obtaining and prioritizing product feedback. You will research feature requests and, in collaboration with the product designer, turn them into actionable feature descriptions for the development team.

 

Your main responsibilities:

  • Obtain, research, and prioritize product feedback from our partners

    • Meet with partners and gather feedback on a daily basis

    • Build trust with partner stakeholders

    • Together with the partner, prioritize feature request based on their complexity and impact

    • Research feature requests with attention to the governing payroll legislation

    • Translate requests into actionable designs and feature descriptions

  • Expand the Officient Marketplace

    • Develop our integration marketplace, meet new integration partners (eg time tracking providers), conduct research, and identify use cases with customers

  • Product communication

    • Communicate new feature communication through webinars, newsletters, public changelog

  • Product management process

    • Collaborate with the product team, to understand and communicate product direction and business requirements

    • Collaborate with the product team to create and manage a detailed backlog; working with a product inbox (productboard) and feature requests (Slack, Intercom) on a day-to-day basis

    • Be a key member of the development process, including roadmap and release planning, launching and testing the product, and product communication

    • Communicate with both technical and non-technical team members as a subject matter expert

Requirements

  • Your experience

    • 2-3 years of product management experience in a SaaS environment

    • Proven ability to make decisions, positively influence other team members, and thrive in an entrepreneurial environment

    • Strong customer and stakeholder empathy. You must be able to channel many points of view.

    • Strong organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to prioritize across multiple projects

    • Proven collaborator and excellent communicator

    • Fluent in Dutch and English. French and other language skills would be an advantage
